Off-Site vs. On-Airport Parking at MCO
Off-site parking trades a lower price for a shuttle ride. At MCO you pay $14 to $35 per 24 hours; our outdoor valet starts at $5.99/day + tax, and you add a ride of roughly 10 minutes plus the wait for the next shuttle. Here is when that trade is worth it, and when it is not.
Short answer: for a trip of a few days or more, off-site costs less: a week with us is $37.96 including tax, against $98 to $168 at MCO's posted rates.
Park at the airport instead for a stay of a few hours, a flight outside our shuttle hours that you can't plan ahead for, or a car that must be under cover. Driving an oversized vehicle? Check with us before you book.

Time is the other side of the scale. From our lot, the terminals are about 3–5 miles by road, roughly 10 minutes in normal traffic, and shuttles leave every 30 minutes, so allow for the wait as well as the ride, both ways. MCO's economy lots also rely on a shuttle; only the garages let you walk straight to the terminal.
Decision guide: by who is traveling
Family with kids and luggage
A shuttle means loading bags and car seats twice. On a short trip, a garage next to the terminal can be worth it. On a week-long trip, the gap with MCO's garages is $130.04 at the posted rates.
A group, or two cars
Parking is priced per car, at MCO and with us, so a group that fits in one car splits one bill. Traveling with a big group and lots of bags? Call (407) 753-1958 before you book to check the shuttle has room.
When parking at the airport is the better choice
We would rather you park at MCO than book us for the wrong trip. The airport wins when:
- You are away a few hours, or picking someone up. MCO's two cell phone lots are free for waiting, and the garages charge by the quarter hour up to $24.
- Your flight is outside our shuttle hours and you can't plan ahead. Our shuttle runs 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM (last airport pickup around 10:30 PM), and a flight before about 8:40 AM is tight even on the first run. Self-serve drop-off and return work at night, but they must be booked at least 24 hours ahead. MCO's economy lots run their shuttle around the clock, and the garages are a walk.
- You need covered parking. Our lot is outdoors. MCO's reserved spaces in Garage C are all covered, at $32 per 24 hours.
- Your vehicle is oversized. MCO's garages cannot take vehicles taller than 7 ft 0 in, and MCO says South Park Place is its only lot for oversized vehicles. Check with any off-site lot, including ours, before you book one.
- You are running late. A garage is a walk from the terminal, with no shuttle to wait for.
How to vet any off-site lot: a checklist
These are the questions worth asking before you book any lot near MCO, including ours. Our honest answer sits next to each one.

When MCO parking is full
At peak times, MCO has noted that parking reservations are limited. Before you leave home on a busy day, check MCO's parking availability page, and reserve ahead where you can: MCO's reserved Garage C spaces ($32 per 24 hours) or an off-site lot. Our lot has a fixed number of spaces too, so book early for holiday dates.

Is off-site parking at MCO worth it?
For most trips of a few days or more, it saves money: a week with us is $37.96 including tax, at the standard daily rate, before any date-specific or high-demand pricing, versus $98 in MCO's economy lots and $168 in its garages at the posted rates. For a stay of a few hours, or when you need a shuttle at any hour, parking at the airport is simpler.
Is it safe to leave my car at an off-site lot?
Ask any lot what it does. Ours is fully paved, well-lit and camera-monitored, and during staffed hours your key stays with our team. Our team is on site 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM; the lot is not staffed around the clock. Cars dropped off after hours wait in front of our fence until we open.
How long does the off-site shuttle take?
With us, the ride is about 3–5 miles by road, roughly 10 minutes in normal traffic, and shuttles run every 30 minutes, 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM. Allow for the wait as well as the ride. MCO's economy lots use shuttles too; only the garages are a walk from the terminals.
What can I do if MCO's garages are full?
Check MCO's parking availability page before you leave home. The other options are MCO's economy lots, a reserved space in Garage C booked ahead ($32 per 24 hours), or an off-site lot you have reserved.
Do off-site prices include tax?
It depends on the lot, so check before you compare. Ours do not: prices are shown before 6.5% sales tax, which is added at checkout. MCO's parking pages do not say whether the posted rates include tax.
